Dustin Cotliar, MD, MPH

Dr. Dustin Cotliar is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with more than eight years of clinical experience across emergency departments and urgent care settings. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.

Dr. Cotliar developed a strong interest in sleep health during his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel, where the challenges of overnight shifts and irregular schedules sparked a deeper exploration of how sleep affects overall health and well-being.

Drawing from personal experiences with sleep disruptions and a genuine interest in promoting health, he seeks to emphasize the importance of good sleep through education and sharing practical advice grounded in personal and professional experience. Dr. Cotliar aims to use his clinical background to help others realize the pivotal role of sleep in maintaining optimal health.
