Biography
Dr. Abhinav Singh is a board-certified sleep medicine physician and internist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and excessive daytime sleepiness. He serves as the Medical Director of the Indiana Sleep Center, an American Academy of Sleep Medicine-accredited facility, where he helps patients improve their sleep and overall health through evidence-based care and patient education.
Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital in Mumbai, India. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Joseph Hospital affiliated with the University of Illinois in Chicago before pursuing fellowship training in sleep medicine at Northwestern University.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Singh is actively involved in research, education, and advocacy within the field of sleep medicine. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Marian University College of Medicine in Indianapolis, where he developed and teaches a sleep medicine rotation for medical students. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has served as a peer reviewer for several scientific journals, including the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine and Sleep Health.
Dr. Singh is passionate about improving public understanding of sleep health and promotes what he describes as “360 degrees of sleep awareness,” encouraging individuals and communities to prioritize healthy sleep habits. He is also the co-author of the book Sleep to Heal: 7 Simple Steps to Better Sleep.
