In the wake of news that Carrie Fisher’s cause of death was officially listed as sleep apnea, the American Sleep Apnea Association (ASAA) is actively developing a new campaign to fund research to cure sleep apnea.
If you wanted to help us find ways to prevent and cure this chronic health condition, please consider donating here… you can donate in someone’s name, if you like, if it helps to raise awareness!
Meanwhile, the ASAA (with its expanding family of sites and programs) continues to stay busy with its efforts toward patient-centered advocacy. We exist to engage with, educate, and motivate patients who have sleep health concerns, and wish to thank you for your continued support.
How else might we be able to help you on your sleep health journey?
Let us know what you think… consider these questions and how you might want us to answer:
What would you like to know more about regarding sleep disorders?
What are you best tips for helping others overcome the obstacles that prevent them from good sleep?
If you are a caregiver, how can we help you to better do your job in helping others with their sleep-related problems?
If you have chronic illness, what are your questions and concerns as they relate to your sleep health?
If you have children, are there things you’d like to learn more about in relation to their sleep habits?
We encourage you to send us your answers to these questions. If you have other questions, comments, feedback, or suggestions, we would love to hear from you as well!
Listed below are wide variety of ways you can connect and communicate with our team at the American Sleep Apnea Association. Pick your favorite! We’ll be glad to hear from you! Best in health,
—Your team at the American Sleep Apnea Association
