Val Danielson hosted the American Sleep Apnea Association booth at the recent American Association of Respiratory Care Congress 2017 held in Indianapolis. Booth visitors had the opportunity to enter to win a ResMed S+ Sleep Tracker while they were there. A winner has been selected! “A.W.A.K.E. Angels” reconnect evacuated sleep apnea patients with their therapy

It takes a huge effort, relying on phone calls, texts, and social media, as well as the big hearts, spontaneous compassion, and the willingness of perfect strangers to unite for the common good, to make something like this happen. CAP helps firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel breathe easy

The hard-working service members in our communities deserve to have adequate access to therapy so they don’t compromise their health. The ASAA offers CPAP kits (machines, masks, and accessories) or replacement CPAP masks to all civil servants who need to breathe easy and could use a spare PAP setup at their second home at the station.
