The ASAA always needs people who can help in the headquarters with administrative tasks such as making copies, answering phones, filing, and compiling packets of information. The office is located in downtown Washington at 14th and K Streets NW one-and-a-half blocks from the McPherson Square Metro station on the blue and orange lines and approximately four blocks from the Farragut North station on the red line. The office is officially open from 9 to 5 but usually later.
The ASAA also needs volunteers who have experience in fundraising and/or grantwriting. Thanks to technology, you can volunteer to help the ASAA with fundraising from wherever you live! If you are interested in either of these opportunities, please contact us.
In addition, the ASAA always seeks coordinators for local A.W.A.K.E. support groups. If you have sleep apnea or if someone close to you has sleep apnea, you may be interested in being involved in a support group. If you are interested (or if you have any questions about A.W.A.K.E.), please contact us.
