Board members and friends of the American Sleep Apnea Association joined with National Sleep Foundation Board members under the banner of the National Sleep Awareness Roundtable (www.nsart.org) to visit with members of Congress and their staffs to ask them to support additional funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to increase data-gathering for sleep and sleep disorders and to do more public education on the importance of sleep for a healthy life. Look for your way to help educate your member of Congress at the ASAA Legislative Action Center.

Executive Director Edward Grandi and Board President Dr. Rochelle Goldberg participated in a radio interview with David Lawrence.

Thursday March 8, 2007
Board member Nancy Rothstein read her children's book My Daddy Snores to the students at Ross Elementary School in Washington, DC. Nancy gave signed copies to the children along with buttons and door hangers.
